Design Engineer. Interfaces and workflows for AI: human review, data-heavy UI, AI-assisted dev. ES/EN

@crnacura @paper I keep a CONVENTIONS.md in internal projects too. Do you update it after every approval, or in batches?

[Alonso @alonsarias]

@daniildesigns Do you think the "where I still step in" part should be written down, so the agent knows when to stop and ask?

@nurijanian @Mappletons How would the agent know how much attention I have right now? Ask me, or infer it?

[Alonso @alonsarias]

@shreyatgkr @amal_irgashev Loved the session today. What was the hardest part of your judgment to put into words for the agent?

[Alonso @alonsarias]

@benln @spacexai @cursor_ai Almost a year doing this in Argentina, and the people you meet make it worth it. Apply.

[Alonso @alonsarias]

@rsms Could the partner you want also work for engineers and PMs assembling UI with AI, who don't bring the design judgment themselves?

[Alonso @alonsarias]

@kamil_rawa @guilleflorvs Cool answer. Wrong question though.

[Alonso @alonsarias]

@emilkowalski Four lessons in, and it's the clearest take on packaging judgment for agents I've seen.

[Alonso @alonsarias]

@tldraw Same tradeoff in vision review tools: a loose box that's fast to hit-test beats a perfect one that lags.

[Alonso @alonsarias]

@AnuragKanoria11 Exploring and judging options is where most of the work is now. Will check it out.

Devs who used to avoid frontend now ship full UIs. AI teams spin up prototypes in an afternoon.

The design engineer stops being a bottleneck and starts being a distributor.
