Today was the launch of our school’s Black Student Alliance. Many indicated that they are proud of their black identity👏🏽 and desire to learn more about how to deal with racism and navigate a society which erects barriers and prevents them from full participation. @LC3_TDSB
It is great to see that Black women are at the helm of 3 of the largest urban school boards in Ontario - Toronto, Ottawa, & Peel. We can celebrate that. Let us also ensure that they have the working conditions needed to make the changes that have been laid at their feet.
