While Canadians are off complaining about wearing a piece of cloth on their face being a violation of freedom, Ukrainian parents are sewing their child’s blood type to their clothing in hopes they can be saved from the bombs falling from the sky.
Freedom.
Remember that conversion therapy is abuse, and should not be tolerated. There are numerous studies proving how harmful it is and that the success rates are basically non-existent. This is a human rights violation, if only people got as upset about CT as they do mandatory vaccines
Hey friends, don’t forget today that @JeremyPatzerMP voted AGAINST a ban on conversion therapy. Say no to homophobia, and stop letting cisgendered heterosexual white men speak for a population they know nothing about.
There are at least 36 Indigenous children buried in unmarked graves just on the outskirts of #yqr. This happened everywhere and it isn’t ancient history. https://t.co/22P5jsuJ8d
@AlorahDawn@UofRegina I’m so sorry you had to experience that. What a terrible way to place the blame on the victim! I am compiling experiences of those who are willing to share. I’ve had over 100 students reach out, so we know it’s systemic! https://t.co/q7K25LZrBE
@msyaqoob_@UofRegina I’m pretty sure we could start a thread of students who have reported Saskatchewan professors for racial insensitively and been ignored or gas-lighted. At one point during the process of reporting a professor I was told if he was making me uncomfortable I could just Withdraw.
@JarisSwidrovich@UofRegina As a student at @UofRegina .... are we actually surprised? Last time I reported a professor I got an “I’m sorry, he didn’t mean what he said. He loves his students.”
