Imagine being forced to give someone 6.2% of your paycheck, every single check, every month, for 30 to 50 years of your life.
And that person said, "Don't worry, I'm holding this for you and will pay it back to you on a monthly basis, when you retire at 65."
And then they said, "Nah, just kidding. I meant when you retire at 67. And at that time, I'll only give you 70% of what you paid me."
And then they said, "Oops, I spent all your money. You're out of luck."
That's the U.S. government.
A trillionair, yet his name does not appear on a single school, university, library, museum wing, hospital, stadium, arena, airport, or endowed chairs. What a colossal waste of a human lifetime.
Corporation: "We made $4B but spent $3.9B so we only owe taxes on $100M."
Government: "Totally reasonable."
You: "I made $60K but spent $58K on survival."
Government: "You owe taxes on $60K."
You: "That's not—"
Government: "File by May 15."
i deadass went into damn near psychosis about the epstein files and truly believed it was going to be a game changer but unfortunately people are more brainwashed than ever
I just want to take this opportunity to point out that there is a man named Henry Walter Wooten, from Smith County, Texas, who is serving 35 YEARS IN PRISON for marijuana possession.
Carry on.
I just want to point out....
The amount of money the United States has spent on war in the last 67 days, is roughly the same cost that Bernie Sanders proposed for universal college. So the real question is never can we afford it, it's what we choose to prioritize.
Congress should be forced to retire at 70. Salaries should be $60K, the average American salary. They should pay a minimum of $300/month for healthcare with a $1,000 deductible, like we do.
To represent us, they should live like us.
