@2__factor@MelvinAfc0 So now you want to include recent form and not what he's done over his professional career. Pick and choose as you wish mate.
Foden and consistency dont go together.
I watch football. Doue on the ball excites, like Yamal and Olise. Vini just doesn't do it enough.
@2__factor@MelvinAfc0 "A bad season" you have short term memory. Vini has had more bad seasons at Madrid than good ones.
Doue will surpass Vini in every metric when he's Vini's age.
@2__factor@MelvinAfc0 Doue was a pivotal player in PSG winning their 1st UCL and again for their Second. He's delivered more for France than Vini has for Brazil all while being 5 years younger. Please enlighten me to what Vini accomplished at 21?
@2__factor@MelvinAfc0 You keep bringing up his Ballon d'Or position as if that means something. I couldn't care less. He has been terrible for Brazil and inconsistent for Real Madrid. The label world class needs to mean something. Nothing wrong with the term great player.
@2__factor@MelvinAfc0 The year Madrid wanted Vini to win the Ballon d'Or, Bellingham was their best player that season. Carvahal had a better season when you include international matches. If you asked people who from that list would have at your club in the January window. Vini would not be top.
@EGTVEgal I'm always 1 or 2 numbers away from winning the lottery. The fact im 1 or 2 numbers away is a positive because that means im close to becoming rich.
@TheArsenalMind Yeah he stretched them, then half the time turned around and passed back. He had very minimal great moments. If Arsenal want to hit that next top tier level. Martinelli's average performance just isn't good enough. I really liked him but he just wasnt enough.
@2__factor@MelvinAfc0 My honest opinion on Vini. Hes a very good player, but I'd have Raphina, Kvaratskhelia, Doku and Doue all above him. He had one great season. The rest have been disappointing. Not world class for me. But I get others might disagree.
@IvanOtuma You can't be an Arsenal fan or fully understand football to have created such a list. This is an elite level of back up players that every single team in world football would dream of having. (Bar Kepa ๐)
@MelvinAfc0 I get your point. It's just hard to defend someone being labelled world class when they underperform consistently. Doesn't feel right using that label. I hope he picks that form back up, but if he continues his current form Dowman will replace him.
@SiMaggioFM There are fully grown adults that haven't been able to find a job in the field they want, but will not even slightly entertain work in a field that they believe is below them, even if said field is not that far away from their desired one.
