Metabolic Research Foundation is happy to share that our two recent virtual scientific sessions on obesity — “The Asian Indian Obesity Signature” (May 6, 2026) and “Obesity Spectrum: Beyond Labels, Towards Causes” (May 20, 2026) — were very well received by clinicians and healthcare professionals across the country.
We are deeply grateful to all our esteemed faculty members for sharing their valuable insights, experience, and scientific perspectives that enriched both discussions immensely.
A special thanks to Dr. Sandeep Suri for leading and moderating both sessions so gracefully and effectively.
We are also happy to share that the complete recordings of both sessions will soon be available on the Metabolic Research Foundation website.
Together, we continue building meaningful dialogue and advancing metabolic intelligence.

At the Amex Lounge, T2 Mumbai today, witnessing an interesting spectacle.
One baldy personality — loudly pacing across the lounge as if he were running the country — was passionately discussing national politics, the global oil situation, where crores should be transferred, how much money was invested in which bank, and who apparently matters where.
I almost felt like taking a photograph of this self-declared VVIP personality who seemed determined to ensure the entire lounge participated in his “confidential” conversations.
Premium lounges are meant to be spaces where fellow travelers can work, read, relax, or simply enjoy some peace before a flight. True class, influence, and stature are reflected far more in humility and consideration for shared spaces than in volume, display, or attitude.
Would be wonderful if lounges gently encouraged a quieter and more respectful environment for everyone. ✈️

Summer can be particularly challenging for people living with diabetes. High temperatures, dehydration, irregular meals, sugary cold drinks, and reduced physical activity can all affect blood sugar control more than we realize.
That is why summer diabetes care needs a little extra attention: stay well hydrated, monitor blood sugars regularly, eat light and balanced meals, protect your feet, avoid peak heat hours, and never skip medications. Small daily precautions can prevent major complications.
This simple flyer shares important summer dos and don’ts for people with diabetes. Please read it, save it, and share it with family, friends, and patients who may benefit. Awareness and timely action can make all the difference.
Stay cool. Stay safe. Stay in control.

I am deeply honoured to share that after serving as Honorary Treasurer, AMC Mumbai, during 2025–2026, I have now been selected unopposed as Honorary Secretary for 2026–2027.
Established in 1972, AMC is today one of the most respected and fastest-growing associations of specialist & superspecialist doctors, with a strong membership of nearly 14,000 medical consultants across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane, along with affiliate branches in Karnataka, Pune, and the interiors of Maharashtra. Happy to share that with the blessings of our parents, teachers, seniors and support from our colleagues, Dr Bharat Saboo, Dr Alok Modi, Dr Harsh Hirani, founders of Docyantra, we have been featured in Hindustan Times in The top 10 founders to look out for in 2026
What makes this moment more special is that for the first time, all founders of a single company have been recognised together—a reflection of a shared vision and a collective commitment to building clinician-led, ethically grounded, and impact-driven healthcare innovation.
This acknowledgement affirms our belief that the future of healthcare technology lies in solutions that are optimistic in intent, evidence-driven in design, responsible in governance, and scalable in real-world practice. It also highlights the strength of collaboration—between clinicians, technologists, researchers, institutions, and industry partners working towards a common goal.

I am here at the Delhi Air India lounge. Coming here multiple times. Everytime I have had fantastic experiences.
Sir India's experience is just too good.
I am meeting Ms Bhavna for the 2nd of 3rd time and she is very customer friendly. Such employees should be appreciated by Air India for being very courteous to their customers
Sitting in an Air India flight to Hyderabad ✈️
And the gentleman behind me is loudly announcing his greatness to the entire Premium Economy cabin.
Ever heard of Bluetooth, sir? It was invented quite a while ago 😅📱
You can sit in a premium class…
…but still forget to carry basic class along with you.
No need to remind everyone how “very, very busy” and “very, very big shot” you are.
Some of us may be bigger — and we don’t need to shout 😉

@RadissonBlu I am writing to share my recent experience at Radisson Blu Guwahati, which unfortunately did not align with the high standards I have come to expect from the Radisson brand.
Upon arrival, there was an unexpected delay in room allocation. Despite repeated follow-ups, I was left waiting for nearly four hours without clarity. Finally, my friend put me up in his room. After 4 hours, I was handed a duplicate key belonging to my friend’s room, instead of my own room key, which apparently was on the way, as per Ms Rami, which caused unnecessary confusion and concern regarding room assignment procedures.
Additionally, the conduct of the reception staff — particularly Ms. Phuey — was disappointing. Her tone was repeatedly rude and sarcastic, which is unacceptable in a hospitality setting. While the Associate Manager, Ms Rami, did attempt to apologise and offer compensation in the form of a daily fruit platter — which I accepted as a healthy alternative to outside meals — this commitment was honoured only once and that too after multiple reminders. The next day, I was informed that no such arrangement had been recorded. At that time, Ms Rami was desperate to please me with whatever I wanted and offered me spa facilities also at concessional rates, provided I didn't put in a negative review in public.
Furthermore, complimentary welcome amenities such as fruits, cookies, and infused water placed at the check-in area were suddenly removed once it appeared that guests were making use of them. This gives a very unfavourable impression, raising questions about guest-centric hospitality. If you don't want to keep complimentary services, why offer them and remove them after asking?
To be clear, I travel frequently and have had excellent experiences at Radisson properties across the country. This was my first stay at Radisson Blu Guwahati, and while the property is beautiful, the food and breakfast spread were delightful, and most staff members were courteous and proactive — the unprofessional behaviour of the two team members at the front desk created an overall negative impression of my stay.
I initially hesitated to write this review, as Ms Rami expressed concern about potential implications on staff records. However, I believe responsible feedback is necessary for continuous improvement. I hope that the senior management reviews this matter seriously and ensures that future guests receive the warm, respectful hospitality that the Radisson brand is known for.
I would still recommend the hotel for its facilities and overall value — but with the hope that appropriate corrective action is taken to address these service lapses.

I was driving my car yesterday coming from Teen Hath Naka towards to Jupiter Hospital. The bus driver of bus registration number MH01DR9346 was driving very rashly; he would have literally bumped into my car, and he was driving in such an erratic manner that his side of the bus would have rammed into my left side of the car. Although I was driving at a normal speed, he aggressively tried to overtake me from the left, which is illegal, and attempted to push my car towards the middle of the road. Eventually we had to slow down and fall back, then drive ahead and force him to stop to talk to him and take his photos. As soon as he saw that I was preventing me from taking his photos, he was arguing very rudely and arrogantly and refused to give his driver's license for inspection.
Suppose he had rammed into my car?
These drivers, because they have a union, behave and do "Gunda Gardi" on the road and are arrogant and think no end of themselves. Would you investigate and take appropriate action, please? I have attached photos.
Thanks in advance
