One idea from the @meleemarkets docs has stayed with me.

We often think of prediction markets as places to answer questions.

But before any prediction is made, there's an even more important step:

Designing the market itself.

A well-designed market should encourage participation, make it easy for anyone to express a view, and reward those who identify opportunities before the crowd.

That's why market structure matters just as much as the question being asked.

Different designs create different incentives, and incentives shape behavior.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Melee's PMM performs in practice because it's exploring a different approach to those incentives.

Whether you're a trader, a creator, or just someone who enjoys following markets, understanding how a market works can be just as important as understanding what it's predicting.
