@alread63 They did a review 2 years ago and came up with Serpell. His logic was right but something else hasn’t worked. They did the ground hard/softness and came up with nothing. Can’t be bad luck either. Will be interesting to see how we go now we are training at Waverley.

@alread63 What I don’t understand is our injuries started in 2021 when burge was running it. We got rid of him at the end of 2022 saying his methods were out of date so we appointed his 2IC who had similar injury issues so we poached the current guy from cats. No change.

Absolute joke of a sport. Watch any grand final and see the best teams in the league kick balls directly to nothing/opposing team, handball (punch) to nothing/opposing team, kick a ball as hard as they can 10m out from goals unopposed and miss the goal (point for trying though), bounce the ball as they run and fuck it up so the ball bounces away, see two guys nowhere near the ball start bumping shoulders

This is rock bottom (again) for Essendon. Beaten by the bottom side who had half their list unavailable and held to just 7 goals by them in perfect conditions. It doesn’t get much lower than that.

I would be stunned if Brad Scott is the Bombers coach for much longer. 1-10 and bottom of the ladder in his 4th season in charge. Those numbers just don’t add up.

The players clearly aren’t stimulated by his message and are just cruising through the motions with little care or pride in their performance.

If playing like that is what’s being asked of them, then the club is in bigger trouble than feared. I dare say a change is badly needed. The team need a circuit breaker because there is quite clearly a disconnect between them and the coach
