I've returned from my unexpected, unannounced(sorry!) hiatus and social media blackout. I can't say the past 3 months have been therapeutic exactly, but at least I'm well rested.

I finally got around to starting my DS9 recaps again. Should be doing this on a more regular schedule from this point forward. #StarTrek#DS9#classicTV

I secretly came up with this article so I wouldn't feel guilty about replaying all the #MassEffect and #DragonAge games. But I like how it turned out regardless.

The Resident Evil 4 review is up! I was hoping to get it done in time for Halloween, but middle of November will do I guess.

A new review is up! This time I'm taking a look at Inside, a puzzle platformer I underestimated when it came out, and I suspect that so did many of you.

@JohnnySpittin I don't understand why ppl spend money on physical copies of statues when they can just look at them online for free y'all are wasting your money
@GameSpot Martian Manhunter! He's like Superman's cooler cousin, with better powers, a more interesting visual design and a less dorky secret identity. Maybe one of these days we'll finally get a great live-action adaptation.
@ComplaymentdO I thought it was about maintaining your individuality and not conforming to social norms. And then in the second half of the game, while you do act as part of a collective, you are still exerting your own agency and will.
Glad you enjoyed the review!
A little while ago, Ubisoft announced that they were making parts of some games unavailable for paying costumers. The general response was a shocking 'meh'. Here's why it's important.

I was just rewatching DS9 when I realized that this is a time when a lot of people are getting into Star Trek, and there aren't a ton of resources to help them out, so along with my rewatch, I decided to do an episode by episode guide.https://t.co/Zw6CDG4tu0

@GameSpot I'm sorry, but you'd have to be high to put this in the same category as Arcane or Castlevania. The bar for video game adaptations is no longer that low, and even if it was, this wouldn't be a good show.
EA is getting rid of Bioware Points, and making older Dragon Age and Mass Effect DLCs free in the process.
Instead of, y'know, taking them away from people like Ubisoft is.
EA, of all companies, is making Ubisoft look bad: https://t.co/BJ9GK0KgX7
@CodySDax "The needs of the many..." is supposed to be about willing self sacrifice and putting the needs of others above yours. It's less of a contradiction than it is a wrinkle: when is self sacrifice not self sacrifice? Arguably, when you're a kid who's been groomed for it since birth.
