All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
This #PrideMonth and every day, join us to #Standup4HumanRights.
For everyone, everywhere.
Pride season was born out of a demand for equality—and that spirit continues today.
Proud to join Prime Minister @MarkJCarney, Minister @rechievaldez, members of the Pride Caucus and parliamentary colleagues to raise the Pride flag on Parliament Hill. While Pride season comes and goes, our government’s commitment to ensuring safety and dignity does not.
June is packed at Strathma!
From Garden Explorers and Pride at Strathma to workshops, trivia, Strathma Saturdays, and our Multiculturalism Festival, there is lots happening this month.

The best communities aren't built by buildings, streets, or neighbourhoods—they're built by people.
We're celebrating the importance of fostering communities rooted in respect, inclusion, and support for one another.
Because everyone deserves to feel safe being themselves. 🏳️🌈
Pride pins, lanyards, cross walks, they let #2slgbtq folk know their safe to be themselves, and if we are safe then lots of other folks know they can feel safe too. Isn’t that what we should want for our communities? #strathconacounty#scpride
We had a very successful AGM. Looking forward to connecting and reconnecting with many people, and serving the queer and trans community for one more year. #lgbt#strathconacounty#volunteering#saferspaces#agm
Today, on International Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of trans and non-binary people across our communities.
Visibility matters, but so does action. It means standing up to discrimination, protecting rights, and making sure everyone can live safely and authentically.
A stronger Canada is one where everyone is seen, valued, and respected—for exactly who they are.

To my trans friends: I love you.
You taught me how to love myself.
Thank you.
We will get through this new era of hate. We are resilient. We have changed the world already. We will do it again - until we, until everyone, is free.

The Supreme Court has once again ignored the facts, allowing kids to be subjected to harmful, abusive, and discredited attempts to “convert” their gender identity or sexual orientation by licensed medical professionals.
Children should NEVER be forced to endure these cruel practices — and our families deserve better.
As women and feminists, we reject the attack on trans people's rights, freedom and healthcare access undertaken in our name.
We refuse to allow your attacks on our friends and loved ones.
It's the International Transgender Day of Visibility! Let’s celebrate the courage of trans & non-binary people today & every day. Help us fight discrimination & violence. Say No to attacks on trans health care & basic freedoms. Stand visible. Stay safe. #TDOV
Join us this Saturday, Valentine’s Day 💕, at Gratitude Coffee to meet fellow Queer and Trans community members, drink delicious drinks, and try some crafts. Minors welcome with an adult.

What happened to “parental rights”? Do they only apply when social conservatives agree with the choices made?
Also, what happened to the conservative dogma: “That’s between God, Doctor and a patient and government has no place interfering”?
Hypocrisy replaced conservatism.
