@_scientistt I learned how to cross stitch back in March/April and now I'm learning how to use a sewing machine because hand sewing masks is slow and hurts my fingers.

@MissNeutrino I've been making masks using old t-shirts that are 100% cotton. Those that aren't 100% or are a different fabric type, I've been using for the ear loops because they're softer and stretchier.

@MissNeutrino My mom told me that you can check whether your mask is too thin if you can blow out a match/candle/etc while wearing it. Not sure how scientific that is though. Otherwise like others said adding another layer would be best as long as you can still breathe well.
