⚠️ Model safety warning for anyone approached by "@augustanonas" (https://t.co/LxSobhy72K)
I was contacted for a boudoir collaboration shoot and asked for samples of the photographer’s previous work.
He sent me several images and stated that he personally took them.
One of the photos was immediately recognizable because it was actually shot by a photographer I know (@art_dravenn) and have worked with before.
When I confronted him, it became clear that he had presented another photographer’s work as his own.
Using someone else’s photos without permission and falsely claiming authorship is a serious breach of trust.
For models, especially those doing boudoir, lingerie, or adult content, a photographer’s portfolio is one of the main ways we assess their experience and professionalism.
If a photographer is dishonest about their portfolio, that raises valid concerns about working with them.
Please do your due diligence before agreeing to shoots, and photographers: always be transparent about your work and get permission before using another artist’s images as references.
