□コンセプト：
.retlaは、alter.の連動企画として、完成品としてのプロダクトだけでなく、それを可能にしていくプロセスや思考を共有する共創プラットフォームです。

国内の若手空間デザイナーや他分野のクリエイターを含めた12名が参加。
完成品ではない、形が固定される以前の状態を重視したプレゼンテーション。

来場者が自身の基準でプロダクトだと思うものを、手持ちのカバンなどから置いていくことで、プロダクトの価値を問い直すプログラム

【WOVEN DEVIATIONS】

藤瀬朱里・肥田野優希
キュレーション：クリステン・デ・ラ・ヴァリエール（say hi to_）

本展「Woven Deviations」では、テキスタイルを出発点に、素材、領域、形態の境界を大胆に横断する2人の日本人作家、肥田野優希と藤瀬朱里の作品を紹介する。それぞれの手法は異なるが、いずれも彫刻性、概念性、領域横断的なアプローチを通じて、テキスタイルという媒体の新たな可能性を提示している。
肥田野は、木と繊維を統合した三次元の織構造を生み出すことで、伝統的な手織りの技法を出発点としながらも、建築的な物質性を備えた新たな形式を構築している。彼女のウーヴン（WOOVEN）シリーズでは、コットンと同様に植物由来の素材である木を横糸として織り込み、柔軟性と強度、可動性を兼ね備えたテキスタイルの彫刻的展開を探求している。
藤瀬は、和紙と糸を用いた繊細な作品を通じて、線描、空間構成、インスタレーションの狭間を自在に行き来する。その表現は、東洋思想と海外での学びの影響を受けた、空間に対する深い思索に基づくものである。彼女の作品は、建築的提案のようでもありながら、空間と感覚の流動性をも表現している。
両者に共通しているのは、日本の工芸遺産を単なる固定された伝統としてではなく、再解釈の余地がある生きた文化として捉えている点である。日本では、職人・デザイナー・アーティストという役割が明確に分離されがちであるが、彼女たちの実践はその境界をぼかし、新たな「つくり手」の在り方を示唆している。形式に囚われることなく、手工芸の規律から出発して革新を生み出す。その姿勢は、現代における工芸の未来像を描く試みとも言えるだろう。

【alter. Market】

様々なフィールドで活躍する、ジャンルを問わないクリエイターによって構成される alter. だからこそ、出展者が持ち寄った"何か"が、マーケット内に並列的かつランダムに配置されることで、プロダクトデザインのマーケットにおける新たな視点を想起させ、来場者の感性を増幅させると考えています。

10代が考えた「使い手の創造性」を体現するショップ什器と、受け手の想像力を拡張するように並べられた59名の出展者の思考・プロセス・手がかり。

それらを起点に、プロダクトデザインと社会との新たな相関関係が立ち上がる、ここは「試みの場」です。

出展者の思考の断片が可視化されたこのマーケットに、自身の価値観を持ってトレードの場に関わることで、開かれたプロダクトデザインの未来への一端となるでしょう。

alter. Market
At alter., a collective composed of creators active across diverse disciplines, the market becomes a space where each participant brings their own "something." Through the parallel and seemingly random placement of these contributions, the market invites new perspectives on product design and amplifies the sensitivity of its visitors.

Within this space, display fixtures embodying the idea of "user's creativity"—developed by teenage participants—stand alongside the thoughts, processes, and cues of 58 exhibitors, each arranged to expand the imagination of those who encounter them.

This is a site of experimentation, where new relationships between product design and society begin to emerge.

By engaging with the fragments of each creator's thought—made visible throughout the market—visitors are invited to participate in an open exchange that points toward a more inclusive future of product design.

【Voidbark】

「Voidbark」は樹皮の新たな産業的価値を発掘する試みです。
クラフトに用いられる山々の木々ではなく、流通している製材用の木材に着目。
材木の大きさにまで育った木々の樹皮は分厚く、強度を内包しています。
これらを採取し、適切な木工技術を用いてプロダクトアウト。
年間50トン以上廃棄もしくはチップにされる建築家具材の樹皮に、新たな産業活用方法を見出します。

“Voidbark” is a project that explores new industrial value in the bark of large-diameter logs distributed for architectural and furniture use. Thick and resilient bark is harvested and transformed into products through woodworking techniques. More than 50 tons of such bark are discarded or chipped annually, and this project seeks to rediscover it as a material and unlock its industrial potential.

【Product and Space】

プロダクトとインスタレーションのあいだに立ち上がる、河野未彩と玉山拓郎の合作による光の構造体を発表します。螺旋状に断続するアクリルと、その断面を照らす光の骨格によって構成された本作は、大小さまざまな空間へとスケールする可能性を秘めています。光、構造、身体表現、写真といった複数の表現が呼応し、日常と非日常のあわいに輝く光のかたちをプレゼンテーションします。

We present a luminous structure by Midori Kawano and Takuro Tamayama that emerges in the space between product and installation.
Composed of spirally arranged acrylic elements and a luminous framework that illuminates their cross-sections, the work holds the potential to scale across various spatial dimensions.
Light, structure, performance, and photography resonate with one another, presenting a form of light that shimmers in the threshold between the everyday and the extraordinary.

【POETIC PROTOTYPING】

風に言葉を乗せる。言葉を泡に変える。離れていくことによる癒し。詩的好奇心のありか。どこかの自分と乗り合わせる。時間はどんな姿をしている？手触りを再生する。音からも、触れている。景色を呼び覚ます。対価を耐荷に換える。硬貨の物理的な価値。普遍を集めて生まれるストーリー。加工痕に水平線を見る。愛そうとする心から始める。それぞれが自らの景色を見つける。言葉を風に乗せる。「言葉を泡にする」を深める。詩を世界と接続する。触り心地を再生する。布が持つ景色のその先。音という環境への想像力。影を注ぐ。影によって濃淡を描く。クラフトマシンシップとの付き合い方。還すことから始める。ねじれに向き合う時に詩が生まれる。機能ではなく、思考によって形づくられる物。光をはかる。姿のない光を捉えるための物差し。姿のない光を形にする。幕間を過ごす。自分にしか見えない瞼の裏の世界。瞼は夢と現実の幕間。私の私の声を探す。「私の声」という自分しか知らないもの。自分にしか分からない正解がある。時間のレシート。共有した時間の証明。レシートの儚さと時間。窓に浮かぶ文字。風の声を聞く。霧を想う。光が溶け合っていく。手慣れを忘れる。時の磁力を描く。リフレクションを重ねる。言葉を風に乗せる三年生。存在感の動き。霧の枝。光。風。ため息。詩的好奇心という、予感のただなかで。

【packing list】

ものを輸送する際、対象物の保護を目的に行われる梱包作業。手紙サイズから大型の精密機器まで保護の仕様は実に様々です。破損防止や天地の設定をはもちろんのこと、防水、冷蔵、スピードの上限、それが美術品であるならば採寸による適切なクレート制作を行うことも珍しくありません。
海外輸送ともなると、距離や経路を加味したより厳重な梱包作業が必要になるのですが、日本は極東の島国という立地上、他国に比べて輸送コスト高はどうしても避けられません。そのため輸送費削減に適した合理的解決(軽量化・小型化・組立構造)と審美的価値の両立を歴史的に実践してきたわけですが、ユニークピースである美術品においてはそう簡単な話でもないのです。

本展project: paiking listは、立地的な宿命を背負った私達の「送り方」を起点に、輸送システム自体をものづくりのプロセスとして内包できないかを検証していきます。

When transporting objects, packaging is carried out with the primary purpose of protecting them. From letter-sized parcels to large-scale precision instruments, the specifications for protection vary greatly. In addition to preventing damage and indicating which side should face up, requirements may also include waterproofing, refrigeration, speed limits, and—if the item is an artwork—custom-made crates measured to fit precisely are not uncommon.

For international shipping, the long distances and routes involved demand even more meticulous packaging. Yet, as an island nation, Japan inevitably faces higher transportation costs when shipping to other countries. Historically, therefore, Japan has pursued rational solutions to reduce these costs—such as lightweighting, miniaturization, and knockdown construction—while balancing them with aesthetic value. However, when it comes to unique artworks, the matter is far from simple.

This exhibition, project: packing list, begins from our “ways of sending”—a condition shaped by our geographical position—and explores whether the shipping system itself might be intertwined with the creative process of making.
