@bookbeduion Stats showed that women outread men in almost every genre/topic, and suddenly it became “performative” and “shallow” and the only books worth reading are conveniently the ones men tend to read marginally more than women.
@Papi_Papi_Smoke@takoraism@BillTheKid1603 Means that men are the consistent problem and that women are the overwhelming target, and when not available, men will target each other. Yet you guys try to deny women as victims because of the cases in which they’re not present.
@ThatComicFan3 What kind of “evidence” do bisexual characters need to provide, like do they all need some mandatory same-sex relationship to pass a test
No, I’m fucking sick of this. Boys are not victims of Patriarchy “just as much” as girls. FGM. Child marriage. Hijab laws. Breast ironing. Violence against these girls is for the crime of being born female. Feminism was made for THEM because the world doesn’t care about girls.
I just hate how we can't even talk about misogyny as a serious form of oppression without y'all throwing tantrums, resorting to whataboutism and turning into mras
Getting so tired of people trying to straw-man this into bio-essentialism when no one is saying men are born evil. The entire point is boys are SOCIALIZED incredibly early into being misogynistic. There’s almost daily news of very young boys raping or abusing little girls.
if you think men are born evil and sexist then you are implying that boys will be boys and men are incapable of change, therefore saying that feminism has no use. even if you don’t flatly say it, you endorse that kind of rhetoric by endorsing bioessentialism.
the disingenuous argument by leftists by framing all radfems as white and upper middle class and all men as black/brown and homeless is ridiculous lol you all repeatedly ignore women of color and our needs
@hookinemgood@blissnvinegar Agaaaain, they were both for sale. They weren’t “items she can’t have”. They had price tags and were available. You keep trying to pretend she felt entitled to things she could have, but they *were for sale*. Ergo, she had a right to buy them, like any of us.
