The final composer on Divergent Pulsations is Sir Harrison Birtwistle, who passed this April at age 87. Birtwistle was internationally renowned as a great modernist.

Composer Juan Trigos has developed a musical language, Abstract Folklore - a process in which he abstracts and assimilates literary and vernacular traditions into modern compositional rhetoric.
