@MidcarderJ Moffat is easily the best writer the show has had. His era had problems but he’s easily the best showrunner that the show has ever had currently. I’d prefer if we got a new younger showrunner to come in but Moffat was absolutely better than Russell was.

@jui_cyapple Chibnall had highlights in his era but there absolutely was an abundance of issues in it that some of which were worse than RTD2 imo

As much as this is OBVIOUSLY for the best, it’s heartbreaking that Russell couldn’t capture what made his original era so beloved, it’s really such a shame it failed so extraordinarily.

I have seen some pushback over my takes on the last few series of Doctor Who. i do wish I could look at it the way some people do but I found most of the episodes to be middling at best lol, i don't think the problems were only with the finale
