1/ I predict Islamic-inspired design will be one of the most influential design trends of the 2020s

I spent yesterday at the Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur and encountered many incredible pieces that demonstrate why

The reach you get in Figma community is pretty amazing.

Built a widget for a client recently, and it has already crossed 900 users within just a few weeks.

@joshm @browsercompany Any plans to release an Arc specific extension API?

[Muhammad Althaf @althaffe]

@jackmcdade I remember Wilderborn for the cool name and that ‘early radical’ website

The Socotra Island in Yemen has long been a land of mystery. Described as ‘The Galapagos of the Middle East’ & ‘The Jewel of Arabia,’ the unspoiled alien-like landscape of the island has intrigued travelers & scientists for decades.

A thread on the enchanting Socotra Island…

@aadhil_sheik @tailwindcss That's very kind of you. Thanks 😊

Supertweak is live with new features and a better experience.

It's a chrome extension that simplifies designing and building with @tailwindcss, by letting you edit your websites live in the browser.

Here's a little demo

@csakon @frank_chimero It was free to read on their website. I haven't bought the physical version yet.

[Muhammad Althaf @althaffe]

I wish more people would read this book. @frank_chimero's writing has a meditative quality to to it.

There are some exceptional pieces in his blog as well.

[sarv @SarvasvKulpati]

I love books but sometimes you find a book that makes you love books even more and this is one of them.

It’s so cute and self contained and wise and beautiful. If you make things- read it!

[Muhammad Althaf @althaffe]

@AlexRobinett Ahh okay. When you spend a lot of time on development, the speed difference starts to matter.
