@KamilTycz@Oksii33 I am not fluent enough in Polish nor Ukrainian to have this argument. My family escaped to Australia when I was young.
I spend a few months in Poland every year and contribute to the economy.
These arguments help nobody.
@KamilTycz@Oksii33 You keep responding to me as if my Polish history is irrelevant and as if I am just a Ukrainian nationalist. I never once defended the OUN.
Just consider yourself that your family were only Polish victims. Mine were both Polish and Ukrainian victims.
@KamilTycz@Oksii33 All I can say is nothing justifies with the OUN did. But maybe you could spend a little time learning about how Ukrainians were treated in the 1930s to understand how such barbarians were created. They didn't appear out of thin air.
@KamilTycz@Oksii33 I also hate the fucking OUN for what they did. You assume I defend it. I dont. My family suffered just as much as yours did.
But your family isnt suffering now. Mine still is. Thats the difference.
@KamilTycz@Oksii33 You keep referring to me as Ukrainian. I am half Polish. I have repeatedly told you this. You ignore it.
I have pointed out that Kaczynski awarded a Polish war criminal and mass murderer. You also ignored that.
@KamilTycz@Oksii33 Murder of innocents by both sides, ethnic cleansing and discrimination by both sides was fucked up. You dont get to own being a victim.
My Polish family fucking bled for Poland. How dare you imply my opinion doesnt count.
@KamilTycz@Oksii33 The problem is you justify the murder perpetrated by the AK in response to what the OUN did. Other people say the OUN were reacting to decades of discrimination.
I say it was all fucked up. I praise the AK for what they did in fighting nazis. In the same way UPA did v russians.
@KamilTycz@Oksii33@Oksii33 this patriot hasnt responded to my question about Polish president honouring a member of AK who Poland condemned for war crimes.
His family's suffering is important. But wont even acknowledge my Polish family's sacrifice or suffering. "Patriotism"
@KamilTycz@Oksii33 So our families were in the same place in the same situation. Yet you talk to me completely dismissively.
Your Polish grandma's suffering is more important than what my Polish grandparents suffered? You keep referring to me as if my family werent affected by this but yours were
@KamilTycz@Oksii33 Polish patriots like you who probably have no connection with Volynhia talk the loudest.
You think this helps anyone? There are people being murdered right now. And you need to feel like some sort of victim for some misguided sense of pride
@KamilTycz@Oksii33 My Polish grandparents are from Volynhia. My grandfather fought for Poland on the western front and was taken POW by Nazis. Dont assume shit about me.
Zygmunt Szendzielarz Łupaszko was given a state honour by Polish President Lech Kaczyński in 2007, was he not?
@JoaJuan2 Joanna. You have good intentions. Yet you fall into the trap of victimhood. This goes both ways. Ukraine doesnt glorify people for what they did against Poland. But for fighting against Russians. Do you believe Poland doesnt glorify people guilty of terrorising Ukrainians?
