@firstredditor @AkaariDesigns @darkflameuniv Oh yeah the problem was since resolved. The client was fine, but apparently you need to change the text file to 171022 prior to running make(building the server). The new repository now comes set to 171022 by default.

@alec_creasy @FbrAndrew @darkflameuniv I am having an issue with the Survival minigame. Isn't that a mission to progress in the game? I have the packed client and it does not have a "res/scripts/ai/minigame/survival/l_zone_survival_client.lua" file as the README suggests to modify.🤔

@alec_creasy @FbrAndrew @darkflameuniv Ok! Game is up and running! Thank you so much, Alec! I guess I had it right before, just needed to rebuild the server as you said. Luckily now the repo comes set to 22 by default so there's no way I can make that mistake a 2nd time!

@alec_creasy @FbrAndrew @darkflameuniv I did not. I ended up uninstalling and trying with WSL1 but MariaDB doesn’t seem to work with WSL1 for me. Trying with WSL2 again but every time I try to compile the server now it just fails to compile. Also trying with docker but I’m totally unfamiliar with docker. This is sad😔

@AkaariDesigns @darkflameuniv server id? as in 171022 in CMakeVariables.txt? that has already been done prior to that screenshot. logs show 171022 so I changed it accordingly and the issue still remains :(

@alec_creasy @FbrAndrew @darkflameuniv both of those have been done and the issue remains no matter what I do. I keep getting logs saying "Received client version: 171022" but the game tells me it needs an update. I changed CMakeVariables.txt to 171022. super frustrating

@darkflameuniv spent about 12 hours on this whole thing with no success yet. and yeah changed all IPs to localhost. everything should be working 🤔

@darkflameuniv my software engineering brother was able to take a few hours of his time to help me with this. I got stuck at the DB portion and he got me through to the end. but the game still isn't letting me log in even after creating an admin account and server running, no errors. weird

@ABrokenTV_ @darkflameuniv I just removed "OR REPLACE" and was able to move along. I've got a server and database running and everything. even able to make an admin account and link up the IPs to localhost but for some reason the game still isn't picking up the admin account. ugh...
