The mother of Washington high school wrestler Kallie Keeler says the fallout from her daughter's lawsuit has followed them far beyond the wrestling mat.

She says the family has faced public scrutiny, harassment, and unwanted attention since filing suit over an alleged sexual assault by a biological male during a wrestling match.

The lawsuit alleges Washington education officials allowed Kallie to unknowingly compete against a biological male and then failed to adequately respond to her reports, leaving her afraid to turn to school officials for help.

A WARNING FOR AMERICANS

A staggering 103 House Democrats voted to cut off U.S. military aid to Israel, including Nancy Pelosi and senior Democratic leader Katherine Clark.

The amendment failed.

But the warning could not be clearer: a major part of the Democratic Party is turning against Israel.

And this is not only about Gaza or Benjamin Netanyahu.

A new Gallup poll found that just 14% of Democrats say they are “extremely proud” to be American, compared with 70% of Republicans. Only 27% of Democrats describe themselves as extremely or very proud to be American. Democratic confidence in major American institutions has also fallen to historic lows.

That suggests something much deeper is happening.

Israel is not merely another foreign country. America and Israel stand together for many of the same foundational principles: national sovereignty, democratic government, Western civilization, religious freedom and the right to defend their citizens against terrorism.

When a political movement increasingly views America’s history, institutions, military and national identity with distaste, Israel will inevitably become a target as well.

The House vote should therefore be a siren not only for Israelis, it should be a siren for Americans.

The movement turning against Israel will ultimately be turning against the values and identity of America itself.
