There is a clear difference between a seasoned lawmaker, an experienced statesman, and a well grounded, highly educated leader, and someone who arrived in politics by chance, lacking both depth and preparation. In this man, competence speaks. Experience shows. And leadership reveals itself not by noise, but by results.

What makes it even more remarkable is that his today’s speech in Ogun State was not scripted, not rehearsed, not planned at all, and not staged, yet it came out profoundly informative, very sharp, and intellectually grounded. That level of clarity and brilliance does not come by accident. It is the product of years of experience, deep knowledge, and true mastery of governance.

Kudos to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Senate leadership, and their team for placing Nigeria above personal interests and demonstrating what purposeful governance should look like.

Igbos or should I say the Southeastern region of Nigeria are yet to have a reliable, stable, competent, and dogged presidential candidate or a leader who can brilliantly deliver the dividends of democracy to their country and their people. Peter Obi is neither a Biafran nor a Nigerian in political identity. He is a confused man.

Peter Obi is a man who is not competent, not confident, not consistent, and he lacks the three basic Cs qualities that make a good leader. He doesn’t seem capable of making any sense of what he’s saying about himself or about his country, Nigeria. His inconsistencies and moving around from one political party to another without any strategy make him appear more like a political loser, wandering around aimlessly, trying to find his feet on sinking sand.

From Atiku Abubakar, a serial political failure, to Rabiu Kwankwaso, a heavy political mathematician who understands the real power dynamics and clearly sees how politically fragile Peter Obi is, the contrast is striking and impossible to ignore.

Obi, to me, appears vulnerable, indecisive, and deeply confused a man who seems to know absolutely nothing about politics. Put me on a political chessboard with Peter Obi and I will play him out in a second.

Obi is far away from being a good presidential candidate or even a vice presidential nominee or candidate.

In contrast, Nigeria needs continuity, structure, and a leader with tested political depth and strategic capacity. Bola Ahmed Tinubu represents that vision a leader whose experience, network, and resilience position him to drive sustainable progress. For those who understand the language of power, governance, and long term national development, continuity under his leadership remains the most pragmatic path forward to 2031.

Adopting foreign identities and religions has historically created a "crisis of self," resulting in the marginalization of indigenous knowledge, leading to cultural disconnection and dependency on former colonial powers.
Following colonial legacies, many Africans struggle with a hybrid identity where indigenous systems are viewed as inferior. This creates a "disconnection from ancestral traditions" and "mental slavery." Reclaiming identity involves acknowledging that African roots are the source of stability. As stated in, "a people without the knowledge of their past history, origin, and culture is like a tree without roots."
Long before foreign influences, Africa had its own complex spiritual systems, including a belief in a Supreme Creator, ancestor veneration, and a deep, sustainable connection to nature. The imposition of foreign religions often suppressed indigenous practices, turning you people into "prey" to a foreign, colonial "predator" by undermining social structures.
The goal is not merely to return to the past but to re-evaluate and "decolonize" the mind, embracing African values while also doing what is appropriate for modern, independent development.
