@ViralNewsNYC 💯…and it’s the for hire vehicles that lobbied for congestion pricing and only have to pay $2.50 per rider…yet they are the cause of the congestion. The WB bus lane on 34th is constantly blocked by delivery vehicles, causing more traffic.

@NYCMayor I understand doing it at 14th street, but 34th St is a major roadway for QMT drivers. Even with congestion pricing, traffic is backed up to Van Dam on a regular workday…I can’t even imagine what it will be if this goes into effect. Please reconsider.

@HinkeyHaines $3 discount for Monday went through today. Tuesday also posted today for $9…I don’t understand why the tolling process is so delayed. I also feel if your entry point is at the Holland or Lincoln crossing, EZpass should have it programmed with the discount already included. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@jonahsahn It’s the fastest way…Holland to Williamsburg…and no toll for the bridge…on the way home I just pay the toll at the QMT. It’s not worth an extra 35 min in traffic to take a lower east crossing back home to save money.

@JamieStelter @NY1 I live in NJ and teach in NY and pay over $400 just in tolls each month. After 13 years of this commute, the problem is the for hire vehicles (and the cars that block bus lanes). On any given day, almost 60% of the cars I see at the QMT are empty T&LC vehicles. Let’s fix that.

@GregRice1010 I’m not sure there is an eastbound LIE crash being cleaned up between the cross island and Little neck, but there is a multi car accident partially blocking the right lane being cleaned up westbound between Little neck, and the cross Island

@CityofHoboken @RaviBhalla at what point are flood gates triggered to lower? Flooding is pretty bad at 1st and Harrison and the cars flying down Harrison aren’t helping.
