@andrewmccalip Opposite Brunel is a great pub - the Mayflower (yes that one) - for proper fish&chips or a pie.

Then walk back to Tower bridge.

I prefer the north bank walk. But that requires going back across the Hilton boat to Canary Wharf.

Lots of old wharfs and pubs and eng history

[@Tom Harvey @alushtom]

@andrewmccalip On your way to Brunel; take the Uber boat. Sit at the back, and you get a great journey to Canary Wharf, travelling under tower bridge.

Then a small boat across the river to the Hilton hotel and walk to Brunel.

@maryannehobbs saw some monkeys last night on my way home through the darkened city and 'monkey mafia' popped into my head. Great to hear Jon Carter back on the radio today!

@shauns_uk Get my ass to mars ✋

@walmsles I moved away from `cdk init` bootstrap a while back in similar direction to what you have here. But you took it a lot further.

Always disliked how CDK seems to think it itself as the primary element of my package/repo. I want domain logic to be prime.

[@Tom Harvey @alushtom]

@walmsles Managed to play with this a little this weekend. And ❤️ it. Looking forward to playing with it a lot more.

@lajacobsson Python. Almost always use the AWS provided Powertools for AWS layer. Pretty often use it for big data sci libraries.

[@Tom Harvey @alushtom]

I love the dx of aws-sso-util from @ben11kehoe and I love #vscode #devcontainers as a developer environment. So, I just pushed aws-sso-util as a devcontainer feature to make AWS CDK Python dev even more fun. https://t.co/d5QliVfeCj

The Evolution of Evolutionary Architecture with Rebecca Parsons (@rebeccaparsons)

Just listened to this great podcast, recommend it if you want to learn more about evolutionary architecture, communication between teams and what it all means.

@ben11kehoe I can only press the like button once, so I’ll have to do this ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@metaskills @alexbdebrie Nice! I assumed some of the awesome design talent at custom ink helped out. I’m sure I can work out a way to get it into a T-shirt 😀

@matteocollina … and all the underscores became undersdbs /jk

@bahrdev I keep running into this with new accounts on my org. Expecting an automatic bump and waiting 3 days. No fun. Doesn’t this go against all their multi account arch advise?

[@Tom Harvey @alushtom]

@heydebigale Wise move. There were plenty of articles published on the “top scientific advances this year” before the news from NIF! Enjoy every day.
