Today, we hosted school leaders from across the region for a press conference to bring awareness to public education funding. This was one of several press conferences across Texas in support of increased funding for public schools.

DVE National Elementary Honor Society hosted a collection drive to help shelter pets. Families, students and teachers donated food, blankets, towels, laundry detergent, dawn dish soap, toys and more. All of the items collected were given to the Bastrop County Animal Shelter.🐾
