We have also repeatedly explained that we live with a senior citizen suffering from a respiratory condition, and the prolonged lack of electricity is aggravating her health situation.
This was despite the fact that we never received a billing statement nor a disconnection notice. Hoping to finally resolve the matter, we immediately settled the balance, yet we continue to receive the same scripted responses with no concrete action taken.
What made this even more frustrating was discovering that all the other affected households already had their electricity restored โ except ours. When we followed up again to ask why we were left out, we were informed that there was an alleged outstanding balance on the account.
Since day one, we have been repeatedly told that a service crew had been dispatched to fix the issue, but no actual resolution has happened. We have called multiple times every single day for updates and assistance.
It has already been 6 days since we lost electricity due to an explosion on the electric post where our meter is located, which also caused outages to nearby houses. We reported the issue to @meralco the following day, yet until now, the problem remains unresolved.
