The inheritance tax on farmers will raise 22 and a half hours of NHS spending.
This is apparently enough to bring waiting lists down, bring mortgages down, and make the economy work for everyone.
This is a really good, fair explanation of the #FamilyFarmTax issue by @pkelso on @SkyNews
The only caveat that I will add is that up until now farmers have been effectively advised to do nothing because all options like the 7 year rule etc have potential stings in their tails and come with risk.
Which leaves many elderly farmers (average age is over 60 I think) with very few options…
@StuartMaggs - I think this is a good summary. What do you think?
@JohnBowyer6@Nigelrefowens@TorstenBell You try taking out a life insurance policy at the age of 70 plus years old. Insane amount of money that’s if you could find a company that would insure you
"I'm not your mate! I hate you. I think you're an idiot! I think you're a lefty, liberal, woke idiot!" 😂
You have GOT to listen to this. Arrogant leftist, James O'Brien, gets utterly destroyed by a farmer called Charlie.
Magnificent!
Up to £139,882 per year for an 'Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champion' within the NHS.
This level of funding simply cannot be justified.
Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I believe that this money should be spent on frontline staff - not obstructive diversity bureaucrats.
No, both these things are not true.
Beef is not ‘the worst thing for the climate’ - fossil fuels are.
How on earth are we in a place where this basic, basic fact is continually denied?
