AG Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel laid out the case against one of the most powerful Democrats in Virginia.

Seven people were arrested or surrendered this morning in a RICO drug trafficking and money laundering conspiracy.

One of them is Louise Lucas, the president pro tempore of the Virginia State Senate. Her two daughters and her grandson are among the other six.

A grand jury indicted all seven on October 14th. They are in federal custody, with a first court appearance expected this afternoon.
