@OlufemiOdunsi@iamFrancesHart Huh? 13 year old girls hang out together all the time. My daughter is 13. I just had SIX teenage girls in my house for an entire weekend. The most that happened was telling them to quit giggling at 2 am. The whole exterior of my house is on camera. No one in or out.
@AndreaGainey Yeah linemen are a special breed. They come from everywhere when we need help. We’re in Daytona. When we were hit my Milton a few years ago the crew that restored our power was from Kentucky. God bless these guys.
@TomiLahren@ClayTravis Pretty sure most people take it with them, not just men. I actually say that my phone and I need to have a conversation and hubby knows that’s a metaphor for I’m going to be a few minutes.
@skumWgmi Your mortgage payments included the tax bill. Now no mortgage so you owe the tax bill outright. But worse, 9400 is this year. Next year it could be 12000.
@Still_AOK@FutTakes Shop around where? I don’t qualify for the marketplace for two reasons. First I have access to insurance through my employer and second last I checked if was over a grand a month.
@jurlycat@FutTakes I haven’t checked in a while but last time I did it was 2000 a month for me and my one child (13). She’s been sick once in the last 5 years. Cost me $200 at urgent care. I haven’t been to a doc other than my well woman stuff in a decade. Even $100 a month isn’t worth it for us
@Still_AOK@FutTakes Good for you. Not all companies can offer such plans. Beat one my small law firm can offer has a $5000 deductible and is still $500 a month just for me.
@nicogambles And PS. No eggs weren’t $10 a dozen and rent wasn’t 3100 but I also made $5-6 an hour, not 15-20. Plus where the hell do you live that 3100 is a starter POS apartment? Maybe your expectations are too high.
@nicogambles I’m Gen X. I worked two full time jobs in my 20s and had two roommates to afford our $500 a month apartment. We still ate ramen and pancakes. Then I got married/divorced & had kids before college was even an option. Then I worked a FT job, had 2 kids and did night classes.
@nicogambles Point is we all struggle when we’re young. It prepares you for the harshness of life. Those who don’t go through that end up the sissies who can’t handle rejection or failure.
