Now hearing from Frisco Police officer Eduardo Cortez, who took Karmelo Anthony into custody at the stadium the day Austin Metcalf was killed.
Cortez approached Anthony, started to arrested him and radioed to other officers that he had the "alleged suspect in custody."
Cortez explained he was NOT questioning Anthony, as that was not his role. It was only to detain him.
However, when Anthony heard Cortez radio that he had the "alleged suspect," Anthony volunteered, "I'm not alleged. I did it. He put his hands on me. I told him not to."
