@Sam_A_CH@danieldibswe I bought INE material based on a newly certified CCIE’s experience. Got fortunate. But did a boot camp with IPExpert though because of timing. They had a great instructor.
@iunderwood@iwiizkiid Oh I hear you. Just very recently supported a customer with an ACS config. Joy and despair at the same time. Kinda like working on a Cat 6500 these days. Thankfully they were staging ISE at the time too.
@danieldibswe Aren't they trying to rebrand everything as "Secure" something ? Firepower now Secure Firewall (it's what a firewall is supposed to try & be!). AMP Endpoint -> Secure Endpoint. ESA -> Secure Email. WSA too.
@danieldibswe Got it. So that's got me thinking NAT Gateway is probably best placed in a "private" subnet i.e. one with VMs that don't have PIPs attached to them. I believe that is the AWS approach if I'm not mistaken.
@iwiizkiid All totally valid points. Step away for as long as you need, enjoy family & congrats on the baby on the way. Take care of your health. The CCIE is a brutal journey. Took me 4 attempts in 10mths to get there, abt 3 wks b4 my own baby. May feel different after a decent break.
@iwiizkiid First couple of times, no. At my last attempt when I passed I made sure I had no study material with me the night before. Was so bored I actually managed to go to sleep at a decent time. Was up before my alarm though but well rested.
