The way some of you casually tell idols to leave their groups is honestly getting out of hand. Seeing people say Hyunsuk should be the next to leave TREASURE is not only disrespectful, it’s genuinely exhausting. Someone literally just left a company, and instead of showing even a bit of respect or understanding, you immediately jump to pushing another idol out like it’s some kind of trend. These are real people with real emotions, not characters you can rewrite whenever you feel like it.
You don’t know their relationships, you don’t know their contracts, and you definitely don’t know what they’ve worked through together. Acting like you can decide who “should leave next” is arrogant and unnecessary. It’s also incredibly disrespectful to the group as a whole. TREASURE is a team, and constantly trying to remove members because of your personal preferences is weird behavior. If someone isn’t your favorite, that’s fine, but going out of your way to push them out crosses the line.
What’s worse is how normalized this negativity has become. People think it’s harmless to tweet things like “he should leave next,” but imagine constantly seeing strangers try to erase you from your own career. That kind of energy contributes nothing except toxicity. It doesn’t make you look honest or bold it just makes you look bitter.
If you truly care about music, idols, or fandom spaces, then stop trying to tear people down. Support who you like and move on. There’s no reason to keep manifesting members leaving groups just because you don’t vibe with them. It’s disrespectful to the idol, the group, and the fans who actually appreciate them.
At the end of the day, you don’t get to decide anyone’s future. Keep your negativity to yourselves and stop speaking on things that aren’t your place. Let Hyunsuk and TREASURE exist without this constant pressure, and maybe focus that energy on supporting your own favorites instead of trying to push someone else out.
