It’s rewarding to build a project for a purpose that’s meaningful to you. This year I volunteered on a suicide hotline and talked to many callers who were in the midst of panic attacks. I worked on this project with those individuals in mind and the desire to support them.

Aly is one of the @BostonCollege students in our “Technologists for Others” cohort building switches to assist people with mobility challenges. These switches are off to empower children at Boston College Campus School. So proud of this class & the impact students are having!

Today I built a Raspberry Pi Drum Machine 🥁 I coded it in CircuitPython and used a STEMMA-QT-based Adafruit MPR121 Gator 12 Pad Capacitive Touch board, PyGame, and a standard speaker to build this super-fun drum board! #BCPhysComp #BuiltWithProfG @gallaugher

@edumendes44 I agree that this is a step in the right direction but I am curious to see how they are going to actually enforce this. I feel like there are a lot of loop holes around this and it makes me question if it is enforceable. #BCSTT
