Hey everyone! Coming back to say that this con still hasn’t paid me or the other contest winners their prize money. They are now asking for $20k on gofundme. They took my payment info and lied about any prize payout. They scammed their contestants.

I have tried to get into contact with them multiple times over different platforms and I’ve been ghosted every time. Over $5000 in prize money in total was promised and none of it was paid out. All contest info including T&C have been scrubbed from their website. Sketchy as hell

I have talked to some friends about the splatoon cosplay thing. I’ve decided to keep dressing in my current outfits, since it would be a waste to scrap them all. But I will not be making any new splatoon outfits going forward. So captain photos will continue in a couple months

I’ve had many good memories in splatoon, but the way I’ve been treated over the past year and what it has done to my love of my craft and my self image has been disastrous. I no longer wish to subject myself to that sort of behaviour.
