Tzolk'in is a challenge for anyone with poor time management skills like me....but still one of my fav worker placements! @czechgames

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

...and the bases are loaded!!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

First play of Ghost Stories with White Moon expansion. Went from "no wins ever" to "won by a landslide"! Time to level up to Nightmare mode!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

Seasons has some of the prettiest components and artwork I've seen. Love this game.

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

Spirit Island is one of the only games I've seen with a decolonizing theme! Thank you @GTGamesLLC!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

@cypheroftyr Ok thanks, Tanya!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

@cypheroftyr Hey Tanya! I'd love to meet you and hear more about INDG! Will u be at a booth so I can stop by and say hi?

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

@INeedDivGms So great to see Tanya Depass featured in Gen Con program! We need more POC , queer/trans and women game industry leaders!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

@beth_sobel Thanks, Beth! I don't have tix for shux - too costly, but maybe in future years! I may hold an alternative game meetup that weekend.

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

Guess where I just arrived???

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

@CardboardHerald Haven't played Puerto Rico. Black "unrest" meeple & white "population" meeple and the idea "sympathizing" with Indigenous ppl is bad =racist

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

@CardboardHerald Yes - I love how deck-building is used in this game. One of many interesting mechanics!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

@BeardedMeeple Great Western Trail! Another Pfister masterpiece.

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

LOVE this game!!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

Archipelago has some great mechanics! Though not enough payoff for endgame scoring and racist theme/art. Glad I tried it!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

Portobello Market could be a nice alternative to Ticket to Ride? Might be better with 3 or 4 players rather than 2.

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

Vivajava has lovely components. Fun pool building game where your pool changes quickly. And a non-drafting strategy game that plays up to 8!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

Finally played Container! Simple rules, innovative mechanisms for player interaction, solid auction/bidding & pick up/deliver game. Boats!!

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

@trailof_dead OMG!!! What game was it???

[Alycia Fridkin @alyciaf]

Fornula D is not only a great family game, it has a d4, d6, d8, d12, d20 and a d30!!!!!!!
