I've finally cracked the code and earned my first 3 Kaito Yaps.
After 44 days, 100,000+ impressions, and 1,000+ likes, here's what I have learned.
1) Consistency is NOT key.
Everyone on your timeline has been telling you to post everyday, waiting for Kaito's AI algorithm to notice you. That is simply inefficient.
I've been posting long-forms, threads, replying to large accounts, and have not gotten a single yap until today. What truly matters is Originality > Quantity.
The post that got me my first yap was an Abstract guide on how to earn free XP.
In it, I shared information that I saw less on my timeline, specifically about on-chain interactions and how I believe it will be important for their airdrop.
2) Posting about Pre- & Post-TGE projects ≠ Yaps
Again, copy pasting doesn't work. If you're just throwing up short thoughts on Yapper Leaderboard Projects, you're not going to make it very far.
The post that got me yaps was about Abstract and PENGU, both of which didn't have a Kaito leaderboard when I posted.
3) Connect & Study with Active Smart Followers
Despite having just 16 likes, I earned 3 yaps.
That's a 18% yap conversion rate.
Why is my conversion rate so high you might ask?
I had the supportive smart followers of @bandosei and @wals_eth interact with my post, assisting the algorithm in finding my content.
Networking with both of them, I learned to connect with individuals with high social presence, particularly those that are active and willing to support their communities.
Another person actively interacting with smaller accounts is @AnonVee_, who has recently crossed 1,000 yaps and is dominating airdrop news/hot takes.
4) Join Communities with Like-Minded Individuals
Communities are a great way to find individuals who are working towards similar goals as you.
A great example is @waleswoosh's new community called "Abstract XP Chads" in which everybody is working towards farming XP.
5) Use Timeline Flexes as Motivation
Especially in a time like now when Berachain & Anime have launched rewards for yappers, don't kick yourself for missing out.
Berachain rewards should be a testament that your social presence is only going to become more important, as most of the Yapper Leaderboard projects have not rewarded yappers yet.

Final Thoughts
Some have said the Kaito TGE is coming in Q1, others in Q2. Nonetheless, I won't stop yapping until the final snapshot announcement has been made.

When I learned about SpaceX's listing on their platform, I put a small bag and have not touched it since as it didn't make sense to me how the news was projecting a 1-1.5T+ valuation and yet it was still sitting at a $733M valuation on Ventuals.
I am personally very bullish on founder-led marketing and am excited to see how Ventuals and the rest of the onchain pre-IPO / RWA markets on Hyperliquid will grow in the remaining half of the year.
