“I don’t know, but I like it” is such a beautiful phrase.

I keep thinking about how much that feeling reminds me of my love for Bangtan.

I’ve loved them for over a year now, and if someone asked me why, I could give them a hundred answers. Is it their music? Of course. Their lyrics? Of course. Their personalities, their artistry, the way they think, the way they speak about life and the world around them? Of course.

I can analyse their albums, talk about their production and lyricism, trace connections across their work, and tell you about all the little things that made me fall in love with their art.

But even after knowing their music this deeply, I still don’t think I can explain why I love Bangtan in one complete answer.

That’s what I love about that phrase. Sometimes you can stand in front of a work of art and not know exactly what it is that draws you to it. You just know that something about it makes you want to stay.

I think Bangtan is that for me.

I don’t know.

But I like it. And maybe, after all this time, that’s enough.
