@HOTDFangirl@dreamfyrefairy i noticed this too and what's weirder to me is that they're the different ages when younger but the same age when older? its odd tbh, i wonder if the writers were debating whether to keep them twins around the time this was written (they don't appear to be on the show idt)
the thing w/ aemond atp is that he knows he's going to die (helaena rly taking one for the team wrt the "alys leads him to his death" theory) so the options atp are either alys somehow convinces him he WON'T die (possible!) or he somehow goes to the god's eye accepting his fate
or maybe more accurately, has correctly interpreted from the weirwood visions. bc as we know interpretation often seems to be the big stumbling point in asoiaf
and given it appears that aemondcito is actually happening, the latter doesn't seem so crazy. he may very well believe his son will rule after him (to sit the throne he speaks of in the trailer.) idk its interesting, i'm curious to find out how much alys actually knows

aerion: i’m going to castrate my brother and marry him also i’m a dragon
egg: aerion killed mr. whiskers
rhae: this potion will definitely make my brother want to marry me

when alys and aemond's team green allegiance is actually alys old gods-pilling aemond into becoming team weirwood and cole is in the corner trying to figure out how to perform an exorcism on the prince regent
@aemondella i think it would be so funny if, after being raised by super devout alicent, he ends up the worlds most enthusiastic convert to the "and now its time for the blood sacrifices" religion bc of a girl
