Excellent question from @ralexdc (I’m glad someone in media is asking this). Does Rubio even care that his diplomatic personnel on the ground in Kyiv are at greater risk? I would think there is a lot of angst re his leadership amongst the professional diplomats at State who see him selling them down the river. If Rubio actually had morals and ethics, he would protest vehemently (and even resign) that force protection measures have been removed.

“Congress is preoccupied with the Nov. 3 election, but Mr. Trump may not appreciate the anger he’s courting if he keeps aiding Mr. Putin. When the election is over there needs to be a bipartisan reckoning for Mr. Trump’s budding alliance with the Kremlin against Ukraine, Europe and American interests.”
Amen.
"A world in which the White House is allied to the Kremlin was, until now, the stuff of paranoid fiction. Manchurian candidates and red presidents were fantasies, dark tales that Americans told themselves, like ghost stories around a campfire."

BREAKING: America’s $1.7 trillion auto loan market is headed for a crash, per Reuters.
Auto loans are now one of the biggest sources of household debt, bigger than credit cards.
And the strain is showing: 1 in 5 Americans is behind on at least one loan, the highest since 2010, and the average car on the road is now nearly 13 years old, a record.
Every day, Trump leaves work after a few hours to stew in a restorative fog of complete insanity that salves whatever grievous wounds his ego suffered that day at the hands of his previous insane decisions https://t.co/53bDyxUgYT
This is correct, which again suggests they don’t care about winning any longer, and intend to simply steamroll over the outcome. It was much better when they thought it would be close.

The White House task force that Trump charged with uncovering evidence of election fraud hasn't produced any.
Instead, it has shifted to releasing records that his admin is using to help build a public case against officials who investigated him. https://t.co/D3KLSUkaxy

Vladimir Putin has proposed that he, Trump, and Xi Jinping meet next month to talk about Ukraine in an attempt to negotiate an end to the four-year conflict that would favor Moscow. https://t.co/q5Hqer5bBD
Like I said, Trump is selling out the Ukrainians, turning his back on our allies, and helping Putin and we'll find out it was all b/c of business deals that will enrich Trump, his family, and his cronies. Not sure I can think of a lower point in U.S. foreign policy in my life.
60 Minutes:
"It's a kind of interference Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson, a Republican in a deeply red state, said she's never seen before.
'In the past two elections that I oversaw as lieutenant governor, the threats were all external: non-state actors, cyber security threats and other things,' she said. 'But now we also have threats coming from within our own government.'"
NEW: The Trump DOJ has filed its response after a federal judge demanded answers about Trump’s post announcing detailed plans to overhaul the East Potomac golf course, despite DOJ telling the court just two days earlier that Trump had given the project only “preliminary thought.”
DOJ now says its lawyers weren’t representing Trump’s actual thinking, but merely interpreting his public statements.
But DOJ says any direct conversations with Trump would be protected by constitutional privileges, so it can’t disclose that to the court.
DOJ also argues that redesigning the golf course isn’t subject to review under the Administrative Procedure Act, comparing it to mowing the lawn.

He is lying about literally everything in his post, as usual.
