Took bloods using an US machine today and succeeded first time, and another patient said I was super gentle while taking her blood and I can take it anytime 🥺 small wins!!

Had my first official day as a doctor today, where the entire system was down so couldn’t see any patient notes!! Then I was left alone until 4pm as the only doctor on the ward 😂 thank god I’m on psychiatry if not I might’ve died
