A reminder that if the women win the #womenseuros2022 today, they'll take home £55,000 bonus each.

If they were men, they would get 9× that at £461,000. The men do donate to charity, but they can because of how much more they get at club level. 1/2

.@BorisJohnson just said UK workers should be more like German workers, who don't have a "habit of going into work when not well".

Proportion of salaries covered by sick pay:

The idea that there was a period in time where "women did not work" is flawed. Women have always worked. Domestic labor is a labor that remains uncompensated.

'To reduce universal credit payment at this time is brutal.'

＠GNev2 says this language is 'divisive and dangerous' and the government should 'work on the theory that people at home aren't sitting there lazy, they really want a good job.'

just because the met police fired wayne couzens after his arrest does not mean they get to call him a 'former' police officer. he was a serving officer when he killed sarah everard and tactically used his powers to do so. they don't get to be absolved of that responsibility
