(1/2) Yesterday marked 60 years since the signing of the Peace Corps Act. Since 1961 more than 241K Americans have answered JFK’s call to serve our nation & our world through the @PeaceCorps. They've worked alongside partners & communities in 142 countries to make lasting change.
The @PeaceCorps has renewed its partnership with @Rotary! Together, we've boosted the impact of development projects in countries around the world including Burkina Faso, Senegal, and the Dominican Republic. Looking forward to more continued collaboration.

This book kicked my ass. And after searching for 20+ years, the research has led me to the missing piece that I needed to develop a model on connection. To all the mapmakers and travelers, this one is for you! https://t.co/VCs0msTvTF

America will never be fully safe while this pandemic is raging globally. That’s why today, I’m announcing that over the next six weeks we will send 80 million vaccine doses overseas.
It is the right thing to do. It is the smart thing to do. It is the strong thing to do.
It's #PublicServiceRecognitionWeek! We want to thank our incredible Volunteers and staff for their dedication, resilience, and hard work. For the past 60-plus years, you've helped the Peace Corps deliver on its global mission.👏 💙

So this is a very raw look at my original cancer diagnosis and why i am going to fight so hard for BRCA testing. This interview was hard (and I am not shy) but remembering the fear made this decision easier ❤️ https://t.co/ZJM4qbRRXw via @rgj
Repair begins with accountability. We still have so far to go. I am grateful for this verdict and devastated that George Floyd is not here today. We keep fighting. ❤️
Happy #WorldHealthDay! Over the past year, we've all learned that that simple actions, such as washing our hands with soap and water, can help save lives.
@USAID and Peace Corps are dedicated to working toward healthier communities and a healthier world. 🗺️
