@outXOftime Dance of the dragons was the reason. Boy lost his own dragon at the Gullet. He saw his own Mother getting burnt and eaten. Saw his entire family with all the dragons extinct. It's a miracle he sustained the dynasty by trusting no one but his immediate family.
