It’s May 16th, high of 72 degrees, the Buffalo Sabres are playing in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, we dreamed of these days folks, soak it in, Sabres in 7
I never expected that we’d be playing in May still. I’m grateful for that! Considering last year ticket prices dropped to $9 a game to the Stanley Cup Playoffs, is a testament to resilience.
All gas. No breaks.
LFGGGGGGGG 💙💛💙💛
Via Tickpick:
There are 3542 tickets available via resale for MTL @ BUF game 1
That’s the most available tickets for the first four games by any team
The next closest? MTL @ BUF game 2 (3011)
Shoutout to the fellas for getting the bag but you’re also a huge loser
need to establish some rules on the “swayman” chant for game 5:
rule 1: no chant if he’s currently pitching a shutout
rule 2: no chant if the puck is in the sabres’ zone
thank you for your time.
Josh Allen is loyal to the crest. Said he wasn’t able to watch game last night because he was on a plane.
“The City of Buffalo is a better place when the Sabres are playing well.”
Rasmus Dahlin has been a Sabres longer than Jack Eichel was. Rasmus Dahlin also got a C on his chest. But most importantly, Rasmus Dahlin didn’t pussy out and quit on the city when it got hard. Rasmus Dahlin is now in the playoffs with the Buffalo Sabres.
I wonder if the NHL is aware that the playoffs start in just more than 48 hours. Very unfair to people who are traveling from out of town to see games, or for people who are trying to organize their lives around when puck drop is. Not fair to the teams either, for that matter.
Lindy Ruff broke a 14 year playoff drought and did it by winning 50 games and the division.
He should be the only nominee for the Jack Adams award.

I don't blame people for taking a big profit off of reselling tickets especially if they've had season tickets for awhile. But broadly it feels like a very uncontroversial opinion that there should be a cap on how much a ticket can be resold for like 10%-20% over face value.
Lindy Ruff returned to Buffalo with a vision: a winning Sabres team with a passion for the city, and KeyBank Center rocking again as it had back in the '90s and 2000s.
In his second year of his second stint behind the Buffalo bench, Ruff has seen that vision through, leading his team back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2011. Read more → https://t.co/16JyXoloKS
These are for the the same section of the arena. The one that is more expensive is row 11 and the one that is cheaper is row 10
This is price gouging to the extreme and if you’re doing it, you should be ashamed of yourself
IF the Sabres win in regulation tonight AND Tampa Bay does not... Buffalo would control it's own destiny in the Atlantic Division.
The Sabres would have the tiebreaker over both TB and MTL, even with both teams having a game in hand.
Taking a team on a 15-year playoff drought to T1 in the division with four games left while going 3-0-1 against the team you're tied with, as the fourth-winningest coach in NHL history ... feels like a pretty strong case
The Buffalo Sabres were re-aligned to the Atlantic Division in 2013-14.
This is the FIRST time past the month of NOVEMBER that the Sabres have ever been in 1st place in the Atlantic division.
History.
Pretty clear to me: NHL needs to ditch All-Star games and do Four Nations at least 2 of every 3 years in between these Olympic matchups. Hockey deserves it.
