@Pirat_Nation lol even outside china people don't want AI data centers.
heck the chinese probably don't want it either, but they just can't say no to CCP right?
@MichaelSholun accept reality, the real target of these AI companies are big corporations too, coz they're not going to profit from small-time insignificant AI enthusiasts
those people are just tools to them.
@bncdotph Millennials and Gen Z BARELY OWN ANYTHING.
the people making a renter world are the elites, the ruling class, the ultra-rich boomers and their kin!
@FiloCappuccino@PilipinasToday_ AFP didn't want them being called "ex-marines" coz they're dishonorably discharged.
calling them "kargador" in the sense above applies the undignified view of the 18 on porters.
the 18 don't deserve any dignified job name for what they did.
@PilipinasToday_ yup, Leody got a point. The only way Raffy's remark sounds okay is if you're some silver-spoon-born prick who never knew what it's like to be at the bottom rung providing 'basic services.'
Leody ain't even hitting at Raffy, just at what he said.
@MichaelSholun@Rahll actually no; they're accelerating use of AI so as to NOT use actual art anymore, especially for commercial purposes. They only want AI by randos to **train** the AI, but ultimately, it's the big buying corpos they're targeting.
It IS a big deal.
@cyber_razz the entire premise of social media that was probably pitched to investors by zuck et. al. was the same - make people addicted to it.
heck, these guys are ALL addicted to "capitalism"
