POLITICS: Is about gaining and keeping power, often by telling people what they want to hear.
One builds.
The other maneuvers.
You can be both. But they’re not the same thing.
LEADERSHIP vs POLITICS— what most people in Rivers State still mix up during this Transition Wave.
LEADERSHIP: Is about taking responsibility for a problem and getting people to solve it, even when there’s no credit.
The fact that you’re fighting just to become a candidate should open your eyes. It shows the sacrifice the structure, (Which you never valued) led by one man against all odds, made for free to get you to 001.
It’s notable that figures like Sir Celestine Omehia, Hon. Austin Opara, Sen. Lee Maeba, Uche Secondus, Hon. Abiye Sekibo, Anabs Sara-Igbe, & Sen. John Mbata have all fallen silent at the exact moment Gov Siminalayi Fubara faces a political crisis.
Just wondering What changed?
My dear Rivers youths, it’s time to build offline. Stop fighting for clout online.
Power isn’t won in comment wars, Lead with service, not ego.
Let's begin to Lead where it matters.
H.E @GEJonathan
The respect, goodwill you earned after 2015 means a lot to many Nigerians. Please don’t let these sudden “come back” appeals drag you back into the mud of active politics. Your legacy is stronger when you remain above the fray.
Stay the statesman we respect.
After six weeks of intense training, we're proud to present certificates to our certified trainees! This project is a testament to our commitment to empowering youths with valuable skills for a brighter future.

Yesterday, on the eve of Nigeria's 65th Independence Day, I led members of the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Seaport to Bishop Marine Academy for the closing ceremony of our Forklift & Crane Operation, HSE, and Safety Management project.
As we conclude the Rotary year 2024-25, a new year is set to begin. We take this opportunity to thank our outgoing President Boma Talbot and his team and welcome our incoming President and embrace the coming new Rotary year 2025-26 as we continue to Magically UNITE FOR GOOD!
Dear friends,
In Rotary, every ending marks a new beginning. When one chapter closes after 365 days of active service & life impacts, another unfolds, bringing fresh opportunities & experiences. It's a reminder that life is full of cycles, & every goodbye paves way for a hello.
I urge relevant authorities, especially those in social welfare and rehabilitation, to take immediate action to address this issue. Let's work together to protect our children and ensure they receive the support and care they deserve.
A concerned Citizen.
URGENT ATTENTION NEEDED!!!
I noticed a concerning trend of children aged 8-13 loitering around First Artillery Junction at night begging. As the day goes, they increase in their numbers. This situation poses serious risks to their safety, security, and future well-being.
