It is astonishing that some countries continue to reward Somalia’s failed leadership with even more assistance and support. After more than 40 years, doesn’t Saudi Arabia see the consequences of this approach and what has been happening?
@Yaseensaz1 We share the Red Sea and have a long, historic relationship. Historically, the Somali people Saudi Arabia dealt with were primarily from Somaliland, rather than Somalia.
@Yaseensaz1 You will learn the hard way that these people are untrustworthy and may abandon you as soon as they receive a better offer from the highest bidder.
@Yaseensaz1 My Saudi brothers, I believe you are making the wrong decisions in dealing with Somalia. Your interests are more closely aligned with Somaliland, and I believe strengthening relations with Somaliland would better serve our shared interests.
@haadka Abdi is not outsmarting anyone; this is what they do best: bite the hand that feeds them. They commit genocide against those who come as brothers, seeking something bigger, while consuming international aid until it runs dry. That is Somalia for you!
We’re entering a new era of neo-Ottoman expansionism.
Turkey is basically the IRGC on steroids…
If IRGC used militias and proxies. Turkey will use non-existent, fictional “govs” in all these failed states.
Failed Somalia , Syria, Libya , You name it..
These regimes barely control.. or have any authority over much of the territory they claim to represent. Yet Turkey uses them as a cover to expand its military, political & economic neo-colonialism.
@akalghanim11 We are happy to share Somaliland’s history with you. As an open-minded person, we encourage you to explore independent sources. Much misinformation has been spread about Somaliland, while corruption and the genocide against the people of Somaliland have often been overlooked
@Guntigaab I think boorame City is doing a great job of embracing the changes needed for a modern, growing city. There’s a lot that other cities in somaliland could learn from boorame approach.
This may be an unpopular opinion in the current climate, but I’d choose Hassan Sheikh as Somalia’s president over any of the other candidates.@somalia @ Somaliland
