For a while, churches and mosques have been built alongside schools and hospitals. Where you find a Catholic, Anglican church or mosque, you are most likely to find them as well running a school and hospital or health center. And these structures were only in custody of the religious institutions, but effectively belonged to the community.

Now the target of the new evangelism is high rising mall-like churches - the education and healing of the poor masses are to be found there as well. The gospel of helping the poor amongst us is replaced with giving to the ‘man of God’. The other important commandment in the new Gospel is: “Say nothing about state excesses, in exchange for handouts from politicians and the state closing its eyes about your exploitation of desperate masses”. After all, such religions are helping the state in demobilising masses by making them exclusively think about the causes of their suffering in spiritual terms and not failures in leadership. Making them think that the solution is exclusively in prayer and offertory, they drain them of political agency and burry them in passivity and naive mirraclelism.

Business partnerships have many challenges but going solo may not necessarily be a solution.
A partnership has more chances of survival than sole-proprietorship.
Plus the advantages of pulling resources, experiences, networks etc.
