As we all know, there's been a lot of confusion and misinformation surrounding the school curriculum, particularly as it relates to 2SLGBTIA+ students. That's why I'm calling on Education Minister Bill Hogan to urgently issue a clarification on how the curriculum was developed and its contents, specifically as it relates to the needs and rights of 2SLGBTIA+ students.

It's crucial that our education system provides accurate and inclusive information to all students, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. Misinformation and fear-mongering only serve to harm our most vulnerable students and undermine the values of diversity and inclusion that we hold dear.

I urge Minister Hogan to denounce explicitly the dangerous misinformation that's being circulated on social media and to take decisive action to protect the rights and dignity of all students in our province.
Let's come together to demand that our leaders prioritize the well-being and education of all students.
