There were several attempts to tarnish his reputation and undermine his administration by forces within and outside his government. Despite efforts to spread misinformation, fabricate scandals and incite protests against his leadership, Governor Inuwa Yahaya has maintained a strong base of support and continued to implement his agenda as contained in the DEVAGOM for the betterment of Gombe state.

Governor Yahaya has focused on improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, security, commerce and trade in the state, which has contributed to the overall economic growth and development of the fastest growing state in this sub-region. His administration has also made efforts to combat corruption and promote transparency in governance which saw the state ranked second on the ladder of states with less cost of governance and high in transparency.

As a result, Governor Inuwa Yahaya's approval ratings have remained high, and he has been able to push forward with his initiatives despite the opposition's tactics and disapprovals. Those individuals and groups that thought without them, nothing good would come the governor's way can now bury their heads in shame. Here's Inuwa Yahaya, whom you wished failure and loss in last election, flying his victory flag in the sky and shall remain the pilot of the state for the next four years.
