@BoxscoreUC @bigku82 OKC wasn’t even a franchise when the Pistons last went to the ECF. Since the Pistons last made the ECF, in 07/08, the Thunder have been to the WCF 5 times, and the finals twice, where they are 1-1 in the finals. Raise your expectations as a fan for once in your life.

Barry Sanders retired 30 years ago. Calvin 10. Both of which were directly tied to the flaws of the organization.

Maybe they need to look themselves in the mirror and recognize this model hurts them.

UConn AD David Benedict tells ESPN that he’s imploring the NCAA and president Charlie Baker to take a stand in eligibility cases where there’s NCAA rules being circumvented by a judge’s ruling.

“If legally we can’t control or impose NCAA rules in terms of who can play and who can’t, based on a legal decision, the NCAA still has the right to determine what games count toward the NCAA tournament. And what games don’t count.

“The NCAA has deemed (Charles Bediako) ineligible. Fine, he can play (on a judge’s ruling). It doesn’t mean the games need to count toward the NCAA tournament. Otherwise, throw away the rule book and set it on fire. There are no rules.”
